Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Rockville, MD

This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist ready to work onsite, supporting a diverse caseload and collaborating with an experienced team. Full-time hours are available, with a focus on delivering high-quality intervention and therapy to students, helping them reach their fullest potential.


Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) held for at least one year
• Active professional license in good standing
• At least 10 hours of availability per week
• Minimum of one year's experience with IEP development and implementation
• Strong desire to make a positive impact in pediatric school-based settings
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to work closely with an interdisciplinary team and school staff
• Self-motivated, organized, and solutions-oriented
• Proficient in digital platforms, able to complete documentation, learn new software, and troubleshoot basic tech issues

Primary responsibilities include:

• Providing direct therapy and evaluations to students with speech-language needs
• Developing and implementing IEPs in coordination with educators and families
• Complying with state and district documentation procedures
• Participating in IEP meetings and progress reports
• Collaborating with support staff, teachers, and administrators to ensure students' success
