Our specialty services include: 24-Hour Emergency & Critical Care Internal Medicine Advanced Soft Tissue & Orthopedic Surgery Anesthesia & Analgesia Behavioral Medicine Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine Radioactive Iodine (I-131) Therapy Our purpose-built specialty hospital includes: Dedicated ICU & oxygen therapy support High-flow oxygen therapy CT imaging & digital radiology Advanced endoscopy & fluoroscopy Comprehensive in-house laboratory Multiple surgical suites Advanced anesthesia monitoring capabilities Rehabilitation & specialty treatment areas This is a hospital designed for veterinary professionals who want to: Build advanced clinical skills Practice high-quality medicine Work alongside experienced ER clinicians and specialists Grow long-term within specialty veterinary medicine ER Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities Emergency & Critical Care Patient Support Monitor and manage hospitalized ER and ICU patients Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition Assist with emergency triage and patient stabilization Provide compassionate nursing care to critically ill and injured patients Technical Veterinary Skills IV catheter placement and venipuncture Administer medications (IV, SQ, oral) Assist with anesthesia monitoring and procedural support Perform laboratory diagnostics (blood, urine, fecal testing) Support radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures Assist with patient restraint and treatment procedures Maintain detailed and accurate medical records Team Collaboration & Client Support Work collaboratively with ER doctors, specialists, RVTs, assistants, and CSRs Support efficient workflow and patient care during high-volume periods Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients Educate clients regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and patient care updates What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Strong interest in Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Medicine Experience in: Emergency veterinary medicine ICU nursing High-volume general practice Specialty referral medicine Surgical assisting/anesthesia support Strong multitasking and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong communication and teamwork abilities Compassionate, patient-focused mindset Preferred Qualifications Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) strongly preferred Previous ER or specialty veterinary hospital experience preferred Experience with: Advanced anesthesia monitoring Critical care nursing Emergency triage Surgical support ICU workflows Strong Veterinary Assistants with ER or surgical experience encouraged to apply Why Join CASE? We have a spacious hospital with a fully staffed ICU with DVM and highly skilled 24 hr support team to manage a high volume patient case load with 12 exam rooms. In hospital we have comprehensive in house laboratory equipment that includes chemistry, cbc, epoc, blood gas, sedivue, fecal imagyst, telecytometry, ability to have consultation and recommendation from boarded radiologist and clinical pathologist for best in the moment patient care, oxygen therapy (multiple snyder icu cages and high flow). We have the ability to provide superior specialty care with computed tomography, fluoroscopy, digital radiology, color-flow doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, minimally invasive surgical equipment, and comprehensive surgical instrumentation. We are able to provide radioactive iodine therapy for cats with hyperthyroidism and have a fully equipped rehabilitation suite with k- laser, e-stim, oasis underwater treadmill as well as exercise treadmill for assisting patients with pre and post op recovery.
