About the Position

Job Title: Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist X-Ray Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:30 - 18:00) Experience: 2 years required; Level I and II trauma experience preferred License: State License Required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, State Licensed Radiographer Must-Have: BLS certification through the American Heart Association only Description: Days are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. There is a Saturday rotation every 5th to 6th Saturday. Holiday and standby call may be required, depending on operational needs. Experience with trauma level I and II is preferred. The role requires performing a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using various radiographic equipment. Troubleshooting basic maintenance, participating in quality assurance, and resolving issues related to image processing and the image archiving system are essential. Candidates will need to make quick and highly technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology. The position involves a variety of imaging techniques including abdomen decubitus, portable procedures, and multiple trauma cases among others. Flexibility to float as needed within the unit is required.
