Department: DIR - Play Therapy Location: Rosemead, CA Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 / hour Compensation & Benefits for Developmental Interventionist $25 – $28, /hour starting pay Paid time off and holidays Mileage reimbursement between sessions Training and professional development opportunities Referral bonus opportunities Opportunity to grow into full-time roles What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities as a Developmental Interventionist Provide 1:1 DIR®/Floortime™ intervention Facilitate social, emotional, and developmental growth through play-based interactions Implement individualized, relationship-based activities tailored to each client Support communication, emotional regulation and social connection Encourage independence, self-expression, and choice-making Build strong relationships with clients and families Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members Maintain a nurturing, flexible, and supportive environment What We’re Looking For Developmental Interventionist Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (in a related field) Passion for working with children and supporting developmental growth Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation required 1 year of experience in a related field Preferred Qualifications Experience with DIR®/Floortime™, ABA, or early childhood development Master’s degree in a related field Experience working with children with autism or developmental differences Why Apply as a Developmental Interventionist?
