OB/GYN Physician Opportunity | Near Albany, NY Robotics, OR Access, Strong Volume | Employed Position | 1:6 Call

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN physician to join a growing, community-based hospital system located just minutes from Albany, New York. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative, well-supported team with strong surgical resources, predictable scheduling, and excellent earning potential.

The Opportunity

Join a respected hospital serving a community of approximately 80,000 patients, with a strong and established referral network of more than 30 primary care providers.

This is a highly functional, team-based practice offering immediate surgical and clinical volume in a modern hospital setting.

• Join 2 OB/GYN physicians and a team of 2 midwives
• Additional MDs support call coverage
• Strong referral base from 30+ primary care providers
• Average of 400+ deliveries annually
• C-section rate under 18%
• Level 1 nursery (no NICU on-site)

Surgical & Clinical Environment

This role offers excellent access to OR time and advanced surgical technology:

• Da Vinci Xi robotic system available
• On-site Intuitive Surgical trainer for mentorship and support
• Flexible OR scheduling: approximately 1–2.5 days per week
• Clinic schedule: 2–2.5 days per week
• Hospital-adjacent medical office with:
  • 12 exam rooms
  • 2 procedure rooms
  • Direct and easy OR access

Call & Schedule

• 1:6 weekday and weekend call
• Sleep rooms and on-site accommodations available across the street
• Strong support structure to ensure manageable call responsibilities
• Balanced schedule designed for sustainability and work-life integration

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary with $400,000–$500,000+ total earning potential
• Productivity (wRVU) bonus structure
