A&A Safety, Inc. is seeking a Traffic Control and Safety Technician to support a variety of roadway and highway operations. This hands-on position assists with traffic control, pavement marking, and general roadway work while helping maintain safe and compliant work zones. This position may work across multiple crews and plays a key role in protecting the traveling public and project teams. Responsibilities:

• Assist with traffic control operations, including placing, maintaining, and removing traffic control devices such as cones, barrels, signs, and barricades.
• Support pavement marking and line striping crews, including handwork and roadway preparation.
• Perform general labor duties on roadway and highway projects as assigned.
• Prepare, load, and unload trucks, materials, and equipment.
• Drive company vehicles to, from, and on active job sites.
• Perform flagging duties and assist with directing traffic as needed.
• Place and remove pavement markers and assist with roadway striping operations.
• Work as part of various crews, including traffic control, line striping, and general labor, based on project needs.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on project needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, but not required)
• Membership in Laborer's union (may join after being hired)
• ATSSA certification(s) a plus but not required
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Schedule & Availability Requirements:

This role requires schedule flexibility, including days, nights, weekends, overtime, and periodic travel to support project demands.
