Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Hybrid- Northeast Minneapolis will be home site and will travel to Plymouth and Maple Grove clinical work locations Salary Range: Starting range $71,864 - $82,638.40/year (Where an applicant may fall on the salary range will vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience & education) Retirement: 401(K) with Company Match, Profit Sharing Time Off: Generous PTO, Holiday Pay, Floating Holiday Disability Coverage: Short & Long-Term Disability Family Support: Paid Leave and Disability Performance Incentive: Discretionary Bonus Based on Company, Department, and Individual Goals Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver innovative human resource programs that align with company initiatives and values by promoting a work environment characterized by embracing open communication, inclusion, trust and continuous growth to empower every individual to thrive. Establish and maintain relationships with managers to stay abreast of current and future business needs. Offer comprehensive support and guidance to our management and leadership teams to optimize department performance, organizational development, and team structure. In collaboration with MNGI's Recruiter, interview and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g. coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, career development). Administer Human Resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave of absence and accommodation, performance appraisal and management, worker’s compensation, career navigator, etc. Maintain accurate and appropriate employee personnel file record and retention within the electronic HRIS. Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Recommends new approaches, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements of the Human Resources department. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Provide integrated HR support through issue diagnosis and proactive problem solving. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Keeps the Director of Human Resources informed of investigations and results including organizational legal risk. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Monitor and ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions (e.g., OSHA, EEO, ERISA, ADA, and Wage & Hour). Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law by establishing professional affiliations and participating in professional activities to include seminars, conferences, and reading appropriate books and articles. Protect interests of employees and the company in accordance with human resources policies and governmental laws and regulations. Keeps the Director of Human Resources informed of organizational legal risk through routine reporting of compliance and prompt notification of incidents. Perform benefits administration to include resolution of questions and concerns and communication of benefit information to employees. Maintain high level of knowledge of assigned HR functional area (e.g. benefits, compensation, recruiting, employee relations & engagement, leaves of absence and accommodations, etc.) and corresponding employment laws. Regularly share knowledge across Human Resources and management teams. Facilitate employee and physician leave of absence planning and questions. Collaborate with Payroll, Provider Requests, Site Administrative Director and physician to develop PDO and leave of absence plan prior to leave start date. Participates on HR Strategic goal projects. Any and all other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources Management or related is required Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience required. Prior experience serving as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner preferred. Certifications/Licenses: Human Resources Professional certification is preferred (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP).
