Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holidays if applicable

Key Responsibilities

• Float across up to four units including Cardiac Telemetry, Medical/Surgical Telemetry, and Surgical Telemetry as assigned
• Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans under the direction of a licensed physician using the nursing process
• Provide and oversee care for patients including those with stroke diagnoses and patients on cardiac drips (Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, and Cardizem)
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to individualize and coordinate patient care
• Direct and supervise nursing support staff in accordance with standards of nursing practice and departmental policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License — Required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) — Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) — Required
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) Certification — Required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience caring for stroke patients and managing cardiac drip protocols
• Familiarity with high-acuity telemetry environments and floating across multiple units
