Location: Arkansas
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday + Occasional Saturday
Compensation: $58–$65/Hour + Benefits
On-Call: None

Position Overview

Our client, a 24/7/365 closed-door long-term care pharmacy , is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support residents of skilled nursing, assisted living, and group home facilities throughout Arkansas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for consistent scheduling, no on-call responsibilities, strong team support, and a balance of clinical and dispensing responsibilities . Another pharmacist is always on duty, providing a collaborative environment focused on medication safety and quality resident care.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Accurately and efficiently dispense medications.
• Apply clinical pharmacy knowledge to support safe and effective resident care.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy staff, healthcare providers, and facility teams.
• Maintain high standards for medication safety, accuracy, and quality.
• Provide professional and compassionate service to residents and caregivers.
• Work collaboratively with another pharmacist who is always scheduled on duty.
• Follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday with rotating shifts:
• 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
• 11:30 AM–8:00 PM
• 1:30 PM–10:00 PM
• Approximately one Saturday every two months .
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Scheduled breaks and lunch.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas Pharmacist license in good standing.
• 1–2 years of pharmacist experience preferred.
• Sterile compounding experience is preferred but not required .
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to medication safety and accuracy.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to pharmacy care.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
