Events Internship Bring Experiences to Life As an Events Intern at Esri, you will work alongside experienced corporate events professionals to help plan and deliver the Esri User Conference and other high-impact event experiences. You will contribute to projects that bring people, content, partners, and logistics together while building practical skills in large-scale event management. What You'll Experience Support the planning and execution of a large-scale conference for geospatial professionals. Collaborate with experienced events professionals and cross-functional partners. Build hands‑on experience with event logistics, content coordination, attendee experience, and partner programs. Participate in team meetings, project updates, and feedback conversations throughout the summer. Real Projects Interns May Work On Coordinate food and beverage programs for conference attendees and event teams. Support event content, agenda, speaker, or session‑management workflows. Assist with sponsorship and exhibit programs, including partner coordination and onsite readiness. Help manage conference logistics, schedules, materials, communications, and follow‑up activities. What You'll Gain Hands‑on experience planning and supporting large‑scale corporate events. Practical skills in project coordination, communication, research, organization, and problem‑solving. Mentorship and feedback from experienced events professionals. Connections with fellow interns and professionals across Esri. We're Excited to Meet Students Who Are currently enrolled in a four‑year bachelor's, master's, or PhD program at a university in the United States, majoring in hospitality management, event management, tourism, recreation, communications, marketing, business administration, or related field, with a demonstrated interest in event planning and execution. For undergraduate students, are in junior or senior standing graduating in 2027 or 2028. Have experience planning, coordinating, or supporting events through coursework, student organizations, volunteer work, hospitality roles, or prior internships. Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple details, deadlines, and logistics simultaneously. Are comfortable working in fast‑paced environments and adapting to changing priorities. Enjoy creating positive experiences for attendees, customers, guests, or event participants. Can complete a consecutive 12‑week internship beginning in May or June 2027. Are authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting. Compensation and Benefits The pay range for this internship takes into account education level and previous relevant work experience, including specialized skill sets. Interns who meet minimum qualifications during their internship may also qualify for 401(k) and profit share. A reasonable estimate of the base pay range is $28.00-$33.00 per hour.
