Sr Cyber Security Analyst

Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to support enterprise cybersecurity initiatives focused on penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, threat hunting, and security risk reduction. This role will lead hands-on security testing efforts across applications, systems, and infrastructure while helping strengthen the organization's overall security posture.

Hybrid: (Onsite Tuesday-Thursday)

What You'll Do
• Plan and execute penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews across enterprise environments
• Perform web application, infrastructure, and network security testing using industry-standard tools and techniques
• Validate vulnerabilities, assess business risk, and provide remediation recommendations
• Conduct advanced threat hunting and security investigations
• Monitor and analyze security events escalated by junior analysts
• Research emerging threats, attacker techniques, and security trends to improve testing methodologies
• Support the implementation and tuning of security tools and assessment platforms
• Document findings, prepare assessment reports, and communicate results to technical and business stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security team members
• Collaborate with security operations, engineering, and infrastructure teams to improve enterprise security controls

What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Cybersecurity or related technical experience
• Hands-on penetration testing and security assessment experience in enterprise environments
• Strong Linux experience and proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nessus
• Experience validating vulnerabilities and performing manual testing beyond automated scanning tools
• Strong understanding of network security, application security, threat analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Experience communicating technical findings and risk to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, and security operations
• Experience in medium-to-large enterprise environments
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar security certifications
• Experience supporting incident response and forensic investigations
