Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities Design, develop, and support high-capacity, high-performance software for IC verification (Calibre). Work on challenges including computational geometry, high-performance data structures, multi-threading, and multi-platform support. Collaborate with product management, quality assurance, technical publications, and customer support to deliver high-quality products on schedule. Participate in scheduling and estimation of tasks, and assist in defining and developing software development best practices. Contribute as part of a team of senior software engineers and architects, developing new components and algorithms and supporting existing components. Demonstrate self-motivation, technical ownership, and a results-driven, team-oriented attitude. Qualifications BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Strong analysis, design, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of high-performance data structures, algorithms, and design patterns 10-15 years of experience in software development in C and C++ on Linux Experience enhancing mission-critical, complex high-performance code bases Knowledge in the following areas is desired: VLSI design principles, techniques for processing high-volume data, graph theory and algorithms, computational geometry, multi-threaded and distributed computing Firm belief in developing high-quality, testable, and maintainable software Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
