Cardiology Physician

Position The WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute seek non‑invasive cardiologists (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) for faculty positions in Parkersburg, WV. Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia, with anticipated travel. Qualifications MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligible for state medical license. Board certified in internal medicine and board certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease. Additional certification or intent to certify in imaging modalities such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and/or MRI (must be met by time of appointment). Responsibilities Provide excellent patient care. Actively involved in teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows. Opportunities in clinical research.
