Barista Position

As a Barista at Concord Hospitality, you will connect with guests by providing friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely service. Your attention to detail, ability to multitask, and commitment to guest satisfaction will ensure a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every customer. In this role, you will prepare high-quality coffee and espresso beverages while also supporting food and beverage operations by serving guests and assisting tables as needed. Responsibilities include providing personalized service and warmly greeting guests, preparing and serving coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages according to recipe and quality standards, operating espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently, taking food and beverage orders, answering menu questions, and making recommendations to guests, delivering food and beverages to guests and providing table service as needed during busy periods, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, dining area, workstations, and equipment, operating cash registers and handling transactions accurately, stocking coffee, beverage, food, and service supplies while monitoring inventory levels, following food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards, addressing guest inquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism and urgency, and collaborating with kitchen and restaurant team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, previous barista, restaurant, cashier, or customer service experience preferred, basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) knowledge required, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, ability to work varied hours, including mornings, weekends, and holidays, detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy while handling multiple responsibilities, and ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
