Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,367 per week

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Palmer, Massachusetts. This position is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts. Responsibilities Work with patients recovering from injury or illness to help them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Implement treatment plans developed by a Physical Therapist and document patient progress. Assist with therapeutic modalities and assistive-device training such as ultrasound, TENS, hot/cold packs, and gait training with canes, crutches, or walkers. Follow facility safety and infection control procedures, including safe patient handling and equipment use. Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Active Massachusetts PTA license required to start assignment. BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred. Experience with therapeutic modalities and assistive-device training preferred. Ability to implement treatment plans and document patient progress.
