To qualify for this position, you must have a valid IR technologist certification, BLS, ACLS and at least 2 years of experience in interventional radiology. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and familiarity with IR safety protocols are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are also required. Recommended skills include experience with advanced IR techniques, such as embolization and stent placements, as well as knowledge of contrast agents and their administration.
