Description:
The Physical Therapist position involves working in an acute care setting.
The shift is Sunday to Wednesday, with 10-hour workdays.
The average daily census is approximately 11 patients.
Candidates should be confident with medical diagnoses and managing moderate to maximum assistance patients.
Co-treatments and the ability to work with ventilated patients are preferred.
Candidates should be able to pivot easily and pick up additional evaluations throughout the day.
The department operates seven days a week; therefore, a weekend day is required to work.
This role requires strong assessment skills and the ability to develop a comprehensive plan of care.
Candidates are expected to perform various physical therapy techniques, including gait training and therapeutic exercises.
Experience with patient transport to and from treatment is preferred.
All candidates should be comfortable floating to other areas within the facility as needed.
Local candidates are welcomed to apply.
Travelers should have the flexibility to work across different units and shifts as needed.
The position requires adherence to quality and patient safety standards.
