Senior Software Engineer, Ruby on Rails

Your role at Acture As a Software Engineer at Acture, you’ll play a key role in building and improving our platform alongside a collaborative and driven engineering team. If Ruby on Rails is your track, you’ll feel right at home here. Responsibilities Co‑develop new features for the Acture platform across both backend and frontend Collaborate with the team to discuss ideas and actively shape the user experience Contribute to architectural decisions and help improve platform stability, performance, and scalability Test and QA features before deployment to ensure high-quality releases Work with a modern tech stack including Ruby on Rails, RSpec, Capybara, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, and maintain a clean, efficient, and sustainable codebase Your profile At least 4 years of experience as a full‑stack software engineer Strong, in‑depth knowledge of Ruby on Rails Bachelor‑level thinking and working ability Solid understanding of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL), REST APIs, HTML, and CSS Familiarity with MVC frameworks and Test‑Driven Development (TDD) Understanding of architectural patterns and system design principles A strong focus on clean code and thorough testing Good communication skills and fluency in English (C1 or higher) Why us?
