User Experience and Interface Specialist, TS//SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph Required

The Role

As a User Experience (UX) and Interface (UI) Specialist you will sit at the intersection of knowledge management, data visualization, information analysis, and mission support . You will help customers transform complex information and datasets into clear, useful visual products that support operational decision-making.

You will work closely with government users, analysts, data scientists, engineers, and product teams to understand information requirements, organize knowledge, develop visualizations, and improve how information is accessed and communicated.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytically minded, technically comfortable, and able to take complex information and present it in a way that is intuitive and actionable.

What You'll Do

Knowledge Management

• Develop and maintain knowledge management processes, standards, and workflows
• Develop documentation, reference materials, and knowledge products
• Identify opportunities to improve how mission users discover and access information
• Support the integration of structured and unstructured information into AI-enabled knowledge systems

Data Visualization & Analysis

• Develop clear and effective visualizations that communicate complex information and relationships
• Create dashboards, charts, maps, reports, and other visual products based on customer requirements
• Transform raw data into visual products that support analysis and decision-making
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and relationships
• Work with analysts and government stakeholders to determine the most effective ways to visualize information
• Develop recurring and ad hoc analytical products
• Ensure visualizations accurately represent underlying data and clearly communicate key findings
• Maintain and update visualization products as data and requirements change
• Translate complex analytical findings into concise, visually compelling outputs

Visualization & Technical Tools

• Use data visualization and business intelligence tools to create dashboards and analytical products
• Work with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS, Excel, Python, SQL , or similar technologies
• Develop interactive dashboards and visualization workflows where appropriate
• Work with APIs, databases, spreadsheets, and other data sources to support visualization efforts
• Troubleshoot data and visualization issues and coordinate with technical teams when necessary
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring visualization and reporting processes
• Support the development of visualization standards and reusable templates

Mission & Customer Support

• Work directly with government customers and mission users to understand information and visualization requirements
• Participate in user acceptance testing to include task-based behavioral observation, surveys, one-on-one feedback gathering, and group feedback sessions 
• Translate operational questions into appropriate data, knowledge management, and visualization solutions
• Support customer briefings, demonstrations, and working sessions
• Respond to ad hoc analytical and visualization requests
• Provide training and guidance to users on knowledge management and visualization tools
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to improve data accessibility and analytical capabilities
• Help customers understand and effectively use Accrete's AI and knowledge management capabilities

What We're Looking For

• Active TS/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence or Lifestyle Polygraph
• 3+ years of experience in knowledge management, data analysis, data visualization, intelligence analysis, information management, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, Business Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience developing data visualizations, dashboards, reports, or other analytical products
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data
• Strong attention to detail and ability to organize large amounts of complex information
• Experience with data management, information organization, metadata, or knowledge management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate complex information into clear and understandable visual products
• Ability to work directly with customers and understand evolving requirements
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with technical and mission teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other federal mission
• Experience working as an intelligence analyst, knowledge manager, or mission support professional
• Experience with geospatial data and mapping
• Experience developing dashboards for operational or intelligence environments
• Experience with knowledge graphs, ontologies, taxonomies, or semantic data
• Experience with AI, machine learning, NLP, or LLM-enabled applications
• Experience in classified, secure, or air-gapped environments
• Experience supporting senior government or military stakeholders
• Ability to obtain and maintain additional security clearance accesses to Special Access Programs (SAP) or Access Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM)

You will serve as an important bridge between mission users, data, and technology , helping ensure that Accrete's AI and knowledge capabilities deliver information in a format that is useful, intuitive, and actionable.

Salary: $120k-$160k
