Job Title: Compassionate In-Home Caregiver (Hiring Immediately)
Job Overview
- Location: Anacortes, WA
- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour and owners make $22.00 per hour
- Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
- Schedule: Flexible daytime hours; occasional weekend or overnight options available
We are a caregiver-owned cooperative dedicated to providing ethical, community-centered support. As a cooperative, we value democracy, fair work standards, and mutual respect for both our members and the people we serve.
We are seeking a kind and dependable caregiver to support our client in maintaining safety, comfort, and independence at home. You will serve as a trusted companion and provide personalized daily living assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Companionship: Provide engaging conversation, emotional support, and company during walks or light activities.
- Personal Care: Assist safely with daily grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility transfers.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals, monitor dietary needs, and handle basic grocery shopping or errands.
- Light Housekeeping: Keep living areas tidy, manage light laundry, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Transportation: Drive the client to medical appointments, social outings, or local errands.
- Medication Reminders: Provide timely reminders for prescribed daily medications.
- Age: Must be 18 years of age or older .
- Experience: Previous caregiving experience is preferred, but a warm heart and strong work ethic matter most (we will train the right person!).
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard criminal background check.
- Work Authorization: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
