The group advises high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and closely held business owners on sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and related tax matters.**Key Responsibilities*** Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on estate and tax planning strategies, including gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax matters* Structure and implement sophisticated estate plans (wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, family limited partnerships, LLCs, etc.)* Counsel clients on wealth preservation, business succession planning, and philanthropic planning* Assist with estate and trust administration, including post-mortem tax planning* Work on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional planning matters where applicable* Collaborate with colleagues across corporate, tax, and real estate practices to deliver integrated solutions* Participate in client development and maintain strong client relationships**Qualifications*** 4–7 years of experience in trusts and estates / private wealth services at an Am Law firm or leading boutique* Strong background in estate planning and wealth transfer strategies for high-net-worth individuals* Experience drafting complex estate planning documents independently* Exposure to estate and trust administration is preferred* Excellent academic credentials and strong writing/analytical skills* Admission to the New York Bar (or ability to waive in)To apply, submit your resume, cover letter and law school transcript (unofficial transcript is acceptable). *Submissions from search firms will only be accepted through our web portal for third party submissions; for access, contact Dan Stone at* *View email address on click.appcast.io*The expected pay range for this position is:Salary Range: $310,000 - $420,000Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average.
