Job Opportunity and Requirements
Our organization is seeking a Full-Time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team at UNC Health Appalachian.
- Collaboration with a comprehensive Cardiology team, which includes Interventional Cardiologists, both Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiologists, as well as skilled Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), is essential.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing diagnostic cardiac procedures such as Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and Cardioversions.
- Applicants must possess the ability to interpret Nuclear Stress Tests and Echocardiograms.
- Enjoy a 4-day work week with no on-call duties and no inpatient consultations.
- Experience with the EPIC system is advantageous.
- Skills in interpreting Cardiac MRI and/or Coronary Computed Tomography Angiography (CCTA) are a plus.
- Compensation package includes: Sign-On Bonus, Relocation Assistance, a Competitive Base Salary with WRVU and Quality Incentives, an Annual CME Stipend, Vacation, Health and Retirement Benefits, and Paid Malpractice Insurance.
