Sr Accountant

Sr. Accountant
A growing organization headquartered in Harford County is looking for an experienced accounting professional ready to take on meaningful work from day one. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity for someone who can operate independently and contribute at a senior level.
Responsibilities

Prepare month-end journal entries and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare financial statements and performance indicator reports
Develop and manage budgets
Prepare monthly sales and use tax payments and returns
Assist with the annual external review
Support full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting
5+ years of related accounting experience
Proficiency in Excel
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Experience with general ledger accounting software
Demonstrated ability to lead a team
