Travel Cath Lab/EP Technologist - RCIS-Certified

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for an acute care Cardiac Cath Lab requiring 3+ years experience and RCIS or RCES certification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• RCIS or RCES certification via CCI required
• Active state or compact (NLC) RN licensure required for the state of submission; license required if applicable
• Acute care hospital experience required
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Responsibilities

• Acute care Cardiovascular Tech (CVT) unit within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Cases include cardiac, electrophysiology, structural heart, and vascular/neuro/peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Uses Cerner EMR
• 10-hour day shifts, every other weekend
• On-call rotation required to support emergency and urgent procedures outside scheduled hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to respond and be ready for a procedure within 30 minutes of call notification
• Monitor and process hemodynamic and electrophysiology data during procedures
• Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory, and procedure room readiness
• Obtain supplies for individual cases
• Deliver patient care in accordance with professional and hospital standards of practice
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality throughout the hospital stay
• Support compliance with performance improvement plans, Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards
