Nelbud is looking for experienced Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning (KEC) professionals to join our Lexington-area team based and supported by our Louisville branch. This is not an entry-level training position. We’re looking for experienced technicians who know the industry and are ready for an opportunity with salary plus commission, strong earning potential, and room to advance. We recognize that experienced KEC professionals bring different levels of technical expertise, certifications, and leadership experience. Qualified candidates may be hired at different levels within Nelbud’s KEC career structure based on experience and qualifications. $50,000–$70,000 total annual earning potential, including salary and commission Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Stable, full-time employment with a growing national company What You’ll Do Clean and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ductwork, and exhaust fans Remove grease buildup using pressure washers and specialized cleaning equipment Perform rooftop and ladder work as part of a field-based crew Follow company safety procedures, quality standards, and applicable KEC requirements Identify service needs and communicate findings appropriately Deliver dependable, professional service to customers Support crew operations, training, and successful job completion based on experience and level Identify appropriate service opportunities and contribute to customer relationships What to Expect Overnight work with varying start times based on customer schedules Physically active, hands-on work Rooftop and ladder work Travel throughout the assigned service area Team-based field environment Opportunity to increase earnings through commission What We’re Looking For Strong knowledge of commercial KEC equipment, processes, and safety requirements Ability to perform physical labor and work at heights Ability to work independently and as part of a field crew Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record Ability to work overnight and varying schedules Reliable, dependable, and professional Strong commitment to quality and safety Strong customer service and communication skills Experienced KEC Professionals We welcome experienced candidates with different combinations of certification, technical knowledge, field experience, and leadership ability.
