Job Description:

This role is for a professional that has a strong knowledge of program management and has the ability to manage complex projects and processes with general to little oversight. This Program Manager (PM) position has responsibility for working with the program team to lead individual projects from request for proposal (RFP) through project execution to ensure on-time deliveries and commitments to Customers. A Program Manager in this role has accountability for the financial well-being of the projects assigned which contribute directly to the business area's goals and operating plans.

Skills/Qualifications required for this role:

• Ability to lead various projects and being responsible for the cost and schedule management of projects assigned. While accountable for their project's financial well-being, the PM will work along side our finance team for requirements associated with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) data collection, reporting, and variance justification.
• The PM will be responsible for leading the implementation and management the program integrated master schedule (IMS) with tracking and reporting system.
• Proposal preparation, internal and external negotiation, preparation of SOW specifications, establishment of program and staffing plan.
• Strong written and verbal skills. PM will be responsible for briefing customer, user, and upper management on all facets of the program. Frequent customer, user, and upper management interaction is routine, including program reviews and gate reviews.
• The PM directs the work of functional employees in the execution of the assigned projects while establishing and monitoring performance to schedules, plans and milestones. The selected individual must set the highest ethical standards for self and others and be able to lead individuals without having supervisory authority over them.
• The PM will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with internal customers, such as engineering, finance, business development and manufacturing to ensure all are strategically and tactically engaged on business objectives.
• Implement and maintain risk review boards, as well as change management review boards. Establish plans to mitigate risk to meeting project objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Able to solve problems that involve consideration of multiple issues, job areas and/or specialities. Problem solving derived from prior experience and in-depth analysis of issues.
• Active Clearance if required
• Some overtime and weekend hours maybe required to meet Customer commitments
• Travel - 10%-15%

• TS/SCI experience
• Microsoft Project experience for building Integrated Master Schedules
• SAP experience
• Familiarity with Agile software development
• Effective communication skills
• Demonstrates initiative and is self-motivated
