OB/GYN physician locum tenens opportunity in Las Cruces, NM. • Assignment Type: Ongoing per diem coverage
• Setting: Clinic, call, and elective OR
• Patient Volume: 20-25 clinic encounters per shift
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,160 - $7,290

• Required Certifications: ACLS and BLS

• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active New Mexico medical license preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of OB/GYN clinical experience required
• Experience managing low-risk and high-risk pregnancies
• Proficiency in fetal heart rate interpretation, including NST/CST/FSE
• Experience with OB ultrasounds, including Level I and screening interpretation
• Skilled in routine vaginal delivery, low forceps delivery, and decision-making for C-section
• Comfortable managing complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruption, and VBACs
• Ability to repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Experience with surgical gynecology procedures required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for a collaborative healthcare environment

• Provide clinic-based OB/GYN care during weekday office hours
• Cover primary call during evenings and weekends
• Support elective OR and surgical gynecology cases as needed
• Evaluate and manage low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients
• Interpret fetal monitoring and OB ultrasound studies
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections when indicated
• Provide gynecologic evaluation and treatment across office and operative settings
• Work collaboratively with APPs, family medicine OB providers, and CNM support
• Maintain high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the coverage period
