Facility:
This position is with the largest provider of oncology services in Eastern North Carolina, offering outpatient clinical care across multiple established regional oncology practices. The facility is part of a nine-hospital cancer care network that includes a four-hospital ACoS-CoC Integrated Network Cancer Program, an ACoS-CoC Community Cancer Program, and two NAPBC accredited breast centers, with additional support from a multidisciplinary cancer center team that includes medical, radiation, and surgical oncology experts.

Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - Hematology/Oncology


Job Details:

• Provide 100% outpatient clinical care across Edenton and Ahoskie locations
• Applicants with 2 years of oncology experience are preferred
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• No call required
• Clinical responsibilities include seeing patients in an ambulatory setting for follow-ups, survivorship visits, symptom management, medication refills, and chemotherapy oversight
• Supported by both regional and telemedicine oncology oversight
• Participation in tumor board conferences
• Work within established regional oncology practices that include infusion suites, patient exam rooms, and a team of experienced providers, nurses, and nurse navigators
• Access to support from a multidisciplinary cancer center team including medical, radiation, and surgical oncology experts
