Tele Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for an 8-week contract. The successful candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and possess the ability to float to different medical-surgical units as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting.
- Monitor and interpret EKG results, ensuring patients' safety and emergency readiness.
- Care for boarded patients in the emergency department and assist in medical-surgical units when necessary.
- Participate in patient assessments and develop care plans based on individual needs.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with established guidelines.
Schedule Details
- Shift: 12 hours, Day shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Scheduled Hours: 32 hours/week (16 non-billable orientation hours included)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: As needed
Qualifications
- Active Illinois RN license required.
- BLS certification required.
- Passing EKG test required prior to submission.
- Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience; 4+ years preferred.
- Epic electronic medical records experience is a plus.
- New graduates will not be considered for this role.
