Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Take on a dynamic and rewarding opportunity as a School Psychologist working onsite with young learners in a supportive educational environment. This full-time contract spans the 2026/2027 school year, from August through June, with a structured 35-hour workweek. Your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of students from kindergarten through second grade, helping them develop the social, emotional, and academic skills needed for success.
Ideal candidates possess a passion for working with early elementary students and a talent for fostering positive school climates. You will play a vital role in supporting the diverse needs of students and collaborating with educators and families to create tailored intervention plans.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (as accepted by the state)
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-2 students
- Thorough knowledge of psychological assessments, intervention planning, and data interpretation
- Proven ability to consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to advocacy, equity, and supporting the whole child
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret psychological evaluations and assessments for K-2 students
- Develop and help implement individualized education programs and behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with school teams and families to support student growth
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Assist in crisis prevention and intervention efforts
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to special education eligibility determination
