This role offers exposure to a broad range of imaging exams with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit setting.Posting SpecificsBenefits Eligible: YesShift Details: Variable days and swing shifts, rotating weekendsUnit/Location: Park City hospitalAdditional Details: $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, Location differential pay, Shift differentials provided for evenings, nights, and weekendsEssential FunctionsPerform high-quality CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocolsEnsure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout the imaging processAccurately position patients and operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic imagesReview images for quality and completeness; collaborate with radiologists as neededMaintain equipment and follow radiation safety standards (ALARA principles)Complete documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standardsSupport team workflow and assist with additional imaging needs as appropriateSkillsStrong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging techniquesAbility to work independently while collaborating within a teamExcellent patient care and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAdaptability in a dynamic, small-hospital environmentMinimum QualificationsAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(RT)(R) Radiography Certification/RegistrationRelevant State licensure (where required)Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providersPreferred QualificationsAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography Certification/Registration (ARRT)(RT)(CT)(Where applicable) Must complete the controlled substance module(Where applicable) Must complete the initial moderate sedation moduleSpecific facility-based certifications may also be required for this role. If this applies, each facility would define and manage compliance.1+ years CT experiencePhysical RequirementsOngoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items.
