- Review various inspections of community rental property to determine adequacy, habitability and suitability as a listing for referral.
- Evaluate management of the Rental Partnership Program and Utility Deposit Waiver Program.
- Study area ordinances and regulations governing community life and recommend new ordinances, regulations or amendments for improvement of housing administrative policies.
- Analyze and prepares statistical data for a variety of reports.
- Assist in Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) data collection and reports submission.
- Assist in development of overall installation plans and procedures for barracks sustainment, to include restoration, modernization, and/or replacement projects.
- Maintain/monitor enterprise Military Housing (eMH) database.
- Evaluate management, maintenance, and operating costs of project finances (to include furniture and appliances), development, and construction.
- Arbitrate resident issues not resolved by the local landlord and/or Residential Communities Initiative Community Manager and makes determinations on exceptions for residents, tenant commanders, developer partner, and other interested parties.
- Advise chain-of-command on all aspects of the installation housing program, and submits necessary reports, briefings, etc.
- Serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), responsible for day-to-day management of contracts supporting housing functions as required or appointed.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 11. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
