PRST is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with strong experience in chiller operation and repair, as well as the ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will also have experience operating steam boilers and pressure vessels in commercial or industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete all required documentation, including work orders, equipment status reports, parts requests, and labor tracking
• Safely use and maintain tools and equipment
• Maintain knowledge of all HVAC systems and areas they serve, including newly installed or modified systems
• Respond to emergency situations and perform additional duties as assigned
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and report any unusual system conditions
• Operate machine shop tools and perform brazing/soldering as needed
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate HVAC controls and Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Respond to system alarms and perform system-wide diagnostics
• Support other trades when needed
• Maintain accurate records using CMMS and other reporting systems

Experience & Skills:

• Preferred: 2-year military, vocational, or apprenticeship training in HVAC

• 5 years of commercial HVAC experience
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Mechanical aptitude with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Must supply basic hand tools
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Basic experience with CMMS and Building Automation Systems (BAS)
