Finance Director

Position Overview The City of McDonough is accepting applications for the position of Finance Director. This position is responsible for the core financial functions of the City including overall financial management and operations, accounting, reporting, budgeting, payroll, procurement, debt issuance, compliance, management, internal auditing and financial record keeping. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field from an accredited four‑year college or university. CPA certification preferred. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible management experience in public/local government financial management. Valid State of Georgia Driver’s License. Acceptable MVR and criminal history.
