Personal Care Attendant/ Caregiver

The Caregiver provides services to individuals in their homes and community who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, eating, and personal hygiene. Caregivers typically work with the elderly or disabled individuals in a home setting. Caregiver Compensation and Benefits Flexible Working Hours Short Shift Incentives Pick up Shift Incentives Holidays paid at time and a half Birthday Bonuses Christmas Bonuses Training and Educational Opportunities Compensation: $14 - $19 per hour Caregiver Responsibilities Help clients take prescribed medication through reminders only Assist clients with ambulation and mobility aroundthe house or outside (doctor’s appointments,walks etc.) Assist clients with personal care and hygiene Help clients complete physical therapy and otherrecommended exercises Complete the client’s shopping Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’tcomplete on their own, including preparing meals Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members Report any unusual incidents to the Care Coach and the Field Coordinator Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency Caregiver Requirements Previous caregiver experience preferred butnot required CPR (American Heart Association) Certification Willingness to adhere to health and safetystandards Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cookingwith attention to dietary constraints Must be respectful and compassionate with a goodbedside manner Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills Physical endurance to complete required tasks High school diploma or equivalent Client Conscious Care is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
