Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specialized in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Akron, OH. This role involves working within a 17-bed Labor & Delivery unit, including floating between Labor & Delivery and Perinatal. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the care of mothers and their newborns, ensuring a high standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• Provide exceptional care in a 17-bed Labor & Delivery unit and 10 perinatal beds
• Float between Labor & Delivery and Perinatal as needed
• Conduct neonatal workups for sepsis and administer IV antibiotics and medications to neonates
• Utilize Epic for electronic medical records
• Perform phlebotomy as required

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel

• Current NRP, ACLS, BLS, EFM, PALS, and STABLE certifications
• Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE
• Minimum of 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Epic and phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months
• Willingness to float between units
• Compliance with RTO conditions and shift scheduling
