This is an excellent temp-to-hire position as a forklift driver making $20/hr with a pay increase after 90 days! In addition to a competitive wage and consistent weekly hours, you get to enjoy weekends off! 3rd Shift: Sun - Thurs 10:45 pm - 7:15 am

Skills and Experience

3rd Shift Stand-Up Forklift Drivers are responsible for effectively and safely moving material as necessary, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with staging, finishing, and semi-finished goods as required.

MUST have at least one year of prior warehouse experience with expertise in stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and walk-behinds. Safety is our number one priority.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Follows and supports all Company Safety policies and procedures
• Is responsible for the flow of material coming from the Incubation area, both physically and logically
• Follows product-specific instructions on packaging requirements, including stacking patterns and information necessary on packaging and pallets
• Tracks any defects found during the sorting process
• Communicates effectively if any issues arise in either the equipment, raw materials, or the product being produced
• Follow all company-required PPE and GMP's
• Recognize, analyze, and report any product safety or product quality issues per the food safety program
• Recognize, analyze, and report any personnel safety issues per the safety program
• Ensure that you have the right tools and raw materials to effectively perform the production schedule as assigned
• Maintain established housekeeping standards for the responsible area

Education and/or Experience:

• 1+ years' STAND-UP FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• High School Diploma or GED
• Employment is contingent upon a background check
• General warehouse experience required
• Experience using handheld scanners is a must
• Swing reach and turret truck experience is a plus, but not required
• Steel-toed shoes required
• Employment is contingent upon a criminal background check, Drug Screen, and a GED or HSD

Computer and Technology Skills:

The successful candidate must be proficient in MS Office applications, SAP, and or other ERP systems

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
