Certified Medical Assistant - Primary Care GEM Paterson

Responsibilities Under general supervision and according to established procedures, provides basic medical assistance to physicians and nurses by preparing patients, including vital signs, chart preparation, phlebotomy, procedure assistance, and lab sample collection. Utilizes department‑specific computer systems for entry and retrieval of patient data. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent with less than one year of related work experience. Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program. Must have and maintain current certification or registration from an accredited institution (e.g., AAMA, NHA, AMT). Bilingual preferred.
