Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Seeking a skilled Material Handler / Forklift Operator to support a global manufacturer in managing warehouse operations and product distribution.

This role combines material handling duties with forklift operation to ensure smooth shipment and receipt processes for climate control products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• PAY RATE: 22.00 hour
• HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm M-F
• LOCATION: Oxnard, CA 93030

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products under general supervision.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of drug test and background check.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to operate sit down and/or stand up forklifts.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.
