Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Redding, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour

Mon 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Wed 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Fri 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Sat 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
