Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Job ID: 89873 Location: Big Spring, Texas Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality patient care in a structured healthcare environment. This is a 6-month contract opportunity offering 40 hours per week, a rotating schedule, and comprehensive on-unit mentorship. Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 6-month commitment
- Shifts will alternate based on facility staffing needs
- Every other weekend off
- Candidates may start on any weekday, Monday through Friday
- New LVNs will receive a minimum of 2-3 weeks of on-unit mentorship with an experienced LVN
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards of practice.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Provide patients with appropriate medication education.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Perform computer-based data entry and maintain required patient records. Full training will be provided.
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support safe, effective, and consistent patient care.
- The ideal candidate is a dependable and patient-focused LVN who is comfortable working a rotating schedule, can adapt to changing staffing needs, and is committed to maintaining high standards of clinical care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
