Process Engineer

As a member of a cross functional team, you lead RDQ activities required to complete process design and process deployment for innovation, growth and cost optimisation projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience. How You Will Contribute Working independently, you will lead technical work across multiple projects aligned with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will also lead activities designed to generate appropriate process information using modelling and simulation, and pilot plant scale up and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. You will be involved with/lead process design and specifications, process scale-up and commissioning and will ensure the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. This position requires you to manage stakeholders and to influence decisions based on data analysis and interpretation of results; create and maintain accurate consumer centric process specifications; leverage connections to internal and external technical communities, and; create intellectual property that gives Mondelēz International a competitive advantage. Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook calendar and email management, written and oral communication skills. Be flexible and available to interact and connect with people at all levels in the organization. Knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques in relation to modern manufacturing concepts, Total Productive Maintenance & 6 Sigma tools. The capability to lead a Role within Line teams. Qualify and coach the work process owners and drive the common opportunity areas across the line in PDCA approach. Flexible with an exceptionally high ability to prioritize tasks and daily work activities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills with an appreciation of employee relation practices. Education / Certifications: BS or MS in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field. 5 years of related experience in engineering, industrial technology, or related field. Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience and/or certification preferred. SAP experience preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment a plus. Travel requirements None Work schedule Monday- Friday ( must be flexible to support manufacturing needs) Salary and Benefits The base salary range for this position is $97,300 to $133,815; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
