Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join a thriving apartment community in West Palm Beach, FL . The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of apartment leasing experience , excellent sales and customer service skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with prospective and current residents. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are required , and Yardi experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of apartment leasing experience required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Yardi experience preferred
- Strong sales, marketing, and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents and provide exceptional customer service
- Conduct apartment tours and showcase community amenities
- Convert prospects into qualified applicants through effective sales techniques
- Process rental applications and assist with lease paperwork
- Follow up with prospects through phone, email, and text communication
- Maintain accurate resident and prospect information in Yardi or other property management software
- Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts
- Respond to resident inquiries and resolve concerns professionally
- Maintain knowledge of market trends and competing communities
- Support community marketing initiatives and outreach efforts
- Ensure all leasing activities comply with Fair Housing regulations
- Assist with resident events and community engagement activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Yardi Voyager or Yardi Breeze
- Experience with online leasing platforms and CRM systems
- Strong closing and sales abilities
- Prior experience in a multifamily apartment community
