Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Part Time Certified Medical Assistant as soon as possible to join their tight-knit team. The primary responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, assisting physicians with procedures, managing patient flow, and supporting front office duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and procedure rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment setup
• Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain vital signs, and document patient history
• Assist with front office duties
• Assist physicians with breast exams, biopsies, and minor procedures
• Manage patient flow and scheduling to maintain clinic efficiency
• Input and update electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy and attention to detail
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and answer basic questions regarding services
• Ensure medical supplies and instruments are properly stocked and sterilized
• Assist with front-desk duties as needed, including check-in, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling
• Uphold standards for professionalism, discretion, and compassionate care

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
• Surgical Experience
• BLS Certification
• MA License
• Preferred: Experience in a Breast Health/Diagnostic clinic, Front desk/office experience, Spanish Bilingual
