Position status (Full‑Time, Part‑Time, or Per Diem) and shift availability (Days, Evenings, or Nights) may vary based on the needs of the organization at the time of hire. Full‑Time positions may qualify for a $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus, subject to eligibility and final approval. Major Responsibilities / Essential Functions Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Director, this position is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. Job Qualifications Graduate of an RN Training Program. Minimum one year recent experience in an Emergency Room setting (not required for New Grad RNs). Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be able to work in a union environment. Preferred Education N/A Required Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation Current California RN License. Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) card from the American Heart Association. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certificate. Basic EKG. Los Angeles County Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire). Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire). Shift Details Full Time/Part Time/Per Diem. Shift: Days/Evenings/Nights. Shift Hours: 12 hrs. Bi-Weekly Hours: 24 hrs up to 72 hrs.
