Job Title

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Acute Rehabilitation)

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications (primarily PO, some IV) and perform central line dressing changes, wound care, wet-to-dry dressing changes, and wound vac management
• Provide safe patient ambulation, toileting, catheter care, peri-care, and blood administration with a 5:1 patient ratio
• Perform neuro checks, stroke-rehabilitation cares, vital signs, blood sugar checks, and telemetry monitoring
• Coordinate and flex nursing cares and medication schedules to prioritize therapy sessions in collaboration with PT/OT/ST teams
• Utilize Meditech EMR and iMobile technology on iPhones for physician and therapist communication and call light response
• Maintain high-quality charting and deliver pain and comfort management for a motivated rehabilitation patient population

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Colorado (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg or Rehabilitation RN experience
• BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in rehab nursing or orthopedic nursing
• Experience in neuro or trauma nursing
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Personable, positive, and adaptable personality with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in a supportive, team-oriented environment
