Job Description

Licensed Mental Health Counselor provides individual counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults in an outpatient therapy setting. Working independently, the counselor Focusing on facilitating client wellness through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. This role offers opportunities for professional development and a potential pathway to supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Provide individual counseling to diverse client populations
Conduct client assessments and develop treatment plans
Document client progress and maintain confidentiality
Utilize psychotherapy techniques and crisis intervention strategies
Collaborate as a member of a small clinical team
Adhere to ethical and legal standards in mental health care

Required Qualifications

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in psychotherapy and crisis intervention
Skilled in client assessment and treatment planning
Strong documentation and communication abilities
Demonstrated empathy and commitment to confidentiality
Effective problem-solving skills
