Dental Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and a thorough understanding of dental procedures and terminology. This role offers an opportunity to work in a positive environment focused on providing exceptional dental services. No weekends required, weekly schedule is 3 full days and 2 - 1/2 days. Consider joining our exceptional team ! Experience preferred but will train the right person. Salary based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and equipment
• Prepare patients for dental treatments and ensure their comfort
• Handle dental instruments efficiently and safely
• Assist with dental radiography and maintain X-ray equipment
• Implement and maintain infection control protocols
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

Required Qualifications

• X-ray Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in dental assisting preferred but will train the right candidate.
• Proficiency in chairside assisting
• Dental Radiology certification - will assist the right candidate in obtaining the certification.
• Strong patient communication skills
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques
• Accurate record keeping
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
