Job Description Job Description Pay: $850.00 - $1,300.00 per week Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver-Idependent contract 1099 to join our dynamic transportation team. New graduates encouraged to apply In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. 90% of our freights are drop and hook. No forced dispatch. Tractor-trailer is provided. OTR Duties Safely operate a 75 foot tractor trailer Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while complying with all traffic laws and regulations governing commercial driving Deliver freight accurately to multiple locations across assigned routes, ensuring proper documentation and delivery confirmation Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery records in accordance with federal and state regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any route adjustments or issues Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record Knowledge of safety procedures related to truck driving, freight handling, and vehicle maintenance Strong organizational skills for route planning and documentation compliance Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and customers Job Type: 1099 contract worker Benefits: Passenger ride along program
