The ideal candidates will be responsible for the developing and implementation of a quality management system that ensures processes and deliverables for mission-critical FAA systems meet defined quality standards and that the deployment of BNATCS systems do not drive unmanaged disruption to the National Airspace System and achieve quality and reliability objectives. This position works closely with internal and external leadership stakeholders across the full range of BNATCS programs and existing vendors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a quality management system that ensures processes and deliverables for mission-critical FAA systems meet defined quality standards. This position works closely with internal and external leadership stakeholders. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build a quality organization that supports high-visibility aviation programs.Work Location:This position is required to be 100% on-site located in Herndon, VA.In this position, you will:Provide leadership and direction for the quality management system (QMS) to ensure product and service excellence.Serve as a member of the program’s leadership teamCommunicate and coordinate directly with internal and external stakeholders on all activities of the QMSLead a high-performing team of multi-disciplined quality practitioners; work with the portfolio teams (Workstream leads and PM’s for our No-Excuses, Exceptional Delivery Standard (NEEDS) packages) across the BNATCS program.QualificationsBasic QualificationsU.S. Citizenship Required.Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance. 16+ years of relevant experience, to include leadership roles. Strong knowledge of quality frameworks and best practices.Experience implementing an ISO 9001:2015 QMS.Experience leading multi-disciplined organizations through managers.Demonstrated ability to make decisions guided by program strategy and priorities to ensure alignment.Strong knowledge of quality-management principles, quality assurance, quality control, continuous improvement, audit practices, and industry best practices.Demonstrated experience establishing quality policies, procedures, governance, metrics, KPIs, quality gates, and performance standards across a complex organization.Experience developing and presenting quality metrics, trends, risks, corrective actions, and executive-level recommendations to senior leadership and customers.Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting FAA or aviation-related systems, including the development and implementation of mission critical radio, telecom, surveillance, and automation systems.Experience supporting highly complex quality initiatives.Experience leading integration teams with complex supplier relationships.Experience using automation, tools, or innovative processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the quality management system.Certifications such as Six Sigma Green belt / Black belt, PMP#BNATCPeraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
